FC Žalgiris didn't manage to secure 10th win in a row – in the 12th round of A league Lithuanian champions drew with third-placed Trakai 1:1.

First half was all Žalgiris and Vilnius side had some clear chances to score more than once. On 32 minutes midfielder Mantas Kuklys opened the scoring with beautiful strike from the outside of the penalty box, moreover, two experienced player shots went off the post.

However, Trakai came back storming in the first minutes of the second half and on 49 minutes Oscar Dorley found himself free near the Žalgiris goal and scored an equaliser. Later Egidijus Vaitkūnas cleared the ball off the line, while Saulius Klevinskas also had time to show his quality. In the dying minutes Vytautas Lukša made an amazing run, but his shot was saved by Trakai goalkeeper Ignas Plūkas.
