30-year-old Croatian international Slavko Blagojevič scored his first goal as a member of Žalgiris and helped to win another match. Lithuanian champions beat Jonava for the second time this sesaon, this time by score line 2:0.

Blagojevič put Žalgiris in front on 18 minutes, when Matija Ljujič found him near the penalty box, however, Jonava had some good chances, but shots from Maksim Marusič and Tadas Eliošius went wide. On 43 minutes visitors doubled their lead – Elivelto scored his eighth goal of the season.
In a nervous second half referee sent off both team players – Jonava midfielder Artūras Rocys and Žalgiris player Serge Nyuiadzi. Žalgiris won ninth time in a row and strengthen position at the top of the A league table.
