The game deciding goal was scored on 20 minutes, when Matija Ljujič found Elivelto, who made a run into the penalty box and hit the ball in the back of the net. It was the 7th goal in the A league season for the 25-year-old Brazilian.
Atlantas came storming in the second half – visiting side had some clear chances but Donovan Slijngard and a post saved Žalgiris from an equaliser. Žalgiris was dangerous in the counter attacks, thus Darvydas Šernas could seal a game, however, an experienced striker wasn't precise.
