FC Žalgiris is still on a winning track – in the 6th round of A league Vilnus side clinched another victory by beating Stumbras 3:1 on road.

Darvydas Šernas, who was disturbed by an injury last month, dominated on the pitch. An experienced striker made a swift comeback and scored a hat-trick after assists from Serge Nyuiadzi and Elivelto. Stumbras managed to pull one goal back on 75 minutes when Georgian international Levan Matcharashvili made a run into the penalty box and put the ball into the net.

This game was special for 17-year old goalkeeper Pijus Petkevičius, who substituted an injured Saulius Klevinskas on 70 minutes and made a debut.
