Last season’s A lyga top marksman Andrija Kaludjerovic will be scoring goals in Thailand. The 29-year-old Serbian forward has signed a contract with Bangkok side Port FC.

Kaludjerovic, who scored 20 goals in 19 A lyga appearences, says he enjoyed his stay in Vilnius.

"It was the hardest decision of my life. I didn’t want to leave Žalgiris as I’ve spent the best time of my career in Vilnius. Here I enjoyed everything: training, games, living conditions, players, coaching staff, administration and, of course, supporters. With Žalgiris I achieved the best victories and suffered the toughest loss against Astana.“

However, Kaludjerovic is already looking forward to returning to Vilnius, where he played a crucial part in helping the club win two trophies.

"I don’t want to say goodbye, I’d rather say – so long! I really hope I will return to Žalgiris. After the season will end in Thailand, I will come to Vilnius and watch Žalgiris play in the group stages of Champions League or Europa League. Though I will be in Thailand, I will remain the most loyal Žalgiris supporter,“ said Kaludjerovic.
