FC Žalgiris once again showed their power on Matchday 19, beating visitors from Jonava, FC Lietava, 4:1. Serbian ace Andrija Kaludjerovic scored his second hat trick in a row.
As is often the case, Žalgiris started the match off strongly, creating a dangerous opportunity in the 5th minute of the encounter - Vytautas Lukša found Linas Pilibaitis in the box, but the #77's shot was too weak and the Lietava goalkeeper, Giedrius Kvedaras, had no problem picking up the ball.
He wasn't able to do the same three minutes later, though, as Mantas Kuklys played a great pass to Andrija Kaludjerovic, who went one on one with the named goalkeeper and did not miss his intended target - 1:0 to the hosts.
Žalgiris continued to push forward. In the 10th minute Kaludjerovic once again tested the Lietava goalkeeper's reactions. A few minutes later Linas Pilibaitis had an unsuccessful attempt as well, and another one in the 21st minute.

As the first half went on, so did the attacks of Žalgiris. Pilibaitis once again needed a bit more luck to control the ball when he went one on one with the goalkeeper in the 30th minute. Kaludjerovic could have scored another two or three later on, but the half ended with no more goals to spare.
Another bright start to the second half awaited the home crowd. Six minutes into the the second half, Pilibaitis knocked a long throw in ball from Vytautas Lukša down onto the on-running Kaludjerovic, who smashed it first time from the edge of the area and completed his second hat trick in a row - 3:0 to Žalgiris.
Lietava looked hopeless, while Žalgiris continued to flourish. Mamadou Mbodj reminded everyone of his presence during corners, when he scored from one in the 64th minute of the encounter. Žalgiris 4, Lietava 0.
The visitors did manage to pull a consolidation goal back at the end of the match - Tadas Eliošius, brother of Tautvydas Eliošius, who belongs to Žalgiris and is on loan at Lietava, scored in the 86th minute to make it 4:1, which was the final result of the match.
