The visiting team didn’t have to wait long for the first goal, which was scored on the 4th minute of playing time. Elivelto received a pass from Saulius Mikoliūnas in the penalty box, even had enough time to aim and without any hesitation put his team in front of the opponents – 1:0.
On the 30th minute Jorge Chula made a perfect pass to the other side of the pitch to Elivelto, who was ready to make a powerful shot and double his tally, but Simonas Stankevičius was in better position and with a gorgeous back-heel shot scored the second goal – 2:0.
The last goal was scored on the 69th minute, when Daniel Romanovskij assisted Saulius Mikoliūnas, who was left alone in front of the goal, not even a goalkeeper in the radar, and made the score to 3:0.
“I had a few minor injuries, but now I feel good and getting into a better form. I feel good wearing a new number, as I played with 23rd in the past. I hope it will bring more goals than just this one”, - said Saulius Mikoliūnas.
Head coach Valdas Dambrauskas was also happy about the teams’ performance.
“I like their determination, everybody is fighting for a spot in starting 11. I like the team spirit that I saw in the field. We had a good preseason, we had perfect training conditions, played against good opponents. I hope that my players will have a good form and grow tin every game throughout the season”, - he said.
