FK Žalgiris Vilnius has won the first game of two against Flora Tallinn with a result 2:1 (1:1).

The game started with a confided play from the Estonians, which led to a first goal. On the 35th minute of playing time Armantas Vitkauskas was left alone to defend the goal and Maksim Gussev opened the scoresheet for his team.
Although FK Žalgiris conceded first, but at the end of the first half Vytautas Lukša made a perfect pass for Bahrudin Atajic, who was left alone in front of the goalkeeper and made the score even – 1:1.
FK Žalgiris started the second half by pressing its opponent in every inch of the pitch. On the 74th minute of playing time Marin Matoš received a pass and made a fantastic shot into the top corner of the goal.
“It was a hard game, but I’m happy that we received a victory. From the beginning of the match they showed that they play organized and fast football. We have to keep that winning mentality. I am also very happy with my goal and hope that the fans will see more of it”, - said Marin Matoš.
