Before the new season FK Žalgiris Vilnius has decided to strengthen its striking force and added Bahrudin Atajic to the squad, who was recently unattached to other clubs.

Bosnian player, who was born in Sweden, has spent his youth years at FF Malmo and Glasgow Celtic youth academies, and in 2013 he joined the first team of Scottish champions, scoring a goal on his debut match against Montherwell.

On 2015 B. Atajic has become the champion of Finland with SJK.

“I was impressed with FK Žalgiris plans of playing European tournaments and I want to help to achieve it. I want to get back on my Champions league level. I’ve met with the coach and the players and I think all of them are true professionals. It won’t be hard to work with them and I think I will have a good opportunity to show my potential here”, - said B. Atajic after his unveiling ceremony.
